A Philadelphia Wedding by Cuppa Photography

By Krista

Good morning, east coast brides! We hope everyone had a nice weekend and we are especially hoping that our New Jersey and Tri-State readers are experiencing some return to normalcy. We are constantly thinking about our neighbors in CT and NY and everyone here in NJ, especially those by the shore, and we are wishing everyone the best. Back to the wedding world, we are happy to share this gorgeous Philadelphia wedding. We love the historic architecture and the bride’s simply stunning style.

From the photographer, Cynthia, at Cuppa Photography:

Jenn & Brett’s Philadelphia Wedding was just fantastic! They combined their mutual love of the City of Brotherly Love and all historic architecture with their understated style and genuine appreciation of one another! From the amazing Morris House Hotel to Jenn’s fabulous custom couture gown and vintage-inspired veil, their wedding was one to remember!

A Casual Claxton Farm Wedding by Brita Photography {Part 1}

By Keri

Some weddings we receive are just so amazing we can not fit all the gorgeousness into one post. It’s a good problem to have, really. This casual farm wedding beautifully captured by Brita Photography is undeniably one of those weddings. This husband and wife photography duo described the gorgeous wedding venue, Claxton Farm, as literally taking their breath away and once you see these photos, I think you will agree. Enjoy part one, the ceremony, and don’t forget to check back for all the amazing reception details in part two tomorrow.

From the photographer…

Nick and I have been so excited to photograph Corin and Brett’s farm wedding in Asheville, North Carolina. Their venue, Claxton Farm is over 500 acres of beautiful rolling hills as far as you can see. We drove up to Weaverville, where Claxton Farm is, a few days before their wedding to scope out the venue. Wow, it literally takes your breath away. The winding, gravel road leads to a beautiful pasture, where the ceremony was held, between the mountains. I knew our memory cards were going to fill up faster than usual. The reception was filled with DIY details - Corin made the cute place cards, and name charts hanging on the barn wall and the tables had the most beautiful rustic and vintage centerpieces. Their cake even sat on a piece of wood, with their names carved on the side. It was perfect. Corin and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at Suraj Salon, before heading to the venue. They wore navy blue dresses with cowboy boots (Corin wore cowboy boots, too!), and the groomsmen wore jeans, khaki suit jackets and matching navy blue ties. After Corin and and Brett said I Do, we wandered all around the farm taking the most incredible pictures! Everything was perfect – the golden sunshine, the scenery, and the love between Corin and Brett. We hope you love Corin and Brett’s pictures as much as we loved shooting their wedding.

A Picture Perfect Wedding by Leah Langley Photography

By Keri

Hello and Happy Friday! Try to stay warm, safe and dry this weekend, East Coasters! We hear Sandy is quickly approaching! Luckily, our next bride got a beautiful day for her Florida wedding. Captured by Leah Langley Photography, I just love how for this couple, the wedding was about joining two families. The bride said her vows to the groom…AND his two daughters. How adorable are the shots of the bride and the girls? Just precious. Enjoy!

From the photographer…

This isn’t your typical wedding. Of course, everyone says that, but this one had many unique features. It was as elegant as any affair, yet they said their vows in a driveway and had their first dance in a friend’s front yard. They used fine china to serve hamburgers and mac n cheese. They had a complete outdoor affair, yet the bride and groom had a privacy tent to peacefully eat their first meal. The bride said vows to her groom, and to his daughters. There were two first looks, one for the bride and groom, and another for the groom and his daughters. The ceiling of the venue was a canopy of oaks, lit by hundreds of lights that the bride’s father personally chose. Danielle and Heath live in a small town in North Florida. There wasn’t a venue that fit their style. So they made one. The bride’s father over saw the whole project of clearing over two acres of land, running electricity and plumbing, and then fully landscaping it. The project took nearly a year to complete, and the result was breathtaking. See for yourself.

A New York Wedding by Fancy Love Photography

By Krista

Happy Monday, East Coast Brides. We hope you all had fantastic weekends and congratulations to Keri and her father for completing the Atlantic City Marathon (for those of you who don’t know, Keri is am amazing runner who writes another blog Blue-Eyed Runner). While Keri is celebrating her awesome accomplishment, I am luckily enjoying the marvelous east coast state of Florida taking a long weekend vacation to Disney with my husband! It’s a nice little break from the sun to bring you this gorgeous New York wedding captured by Fancy Love Photography. We love the rustic signs, the beautiful heart bunting (which inspires us for our Etsy shop), and the stunning ceremonial arch of sunflowers made by the groom’s father and grandmother.

From the beautiful bride, Alana:

We were inspired to do certain things for our wedding by our love for one another as we wanted others to see and feel that love on our wedding day. We also wanted our wedding to be very personal which led to a lot of the personal decorations we had and all of the do-it-yourself pieces. It was a true reflection of us a couple. Another inspiration came from the location itself. As we were having an outdoor wedding at a beautiful piece of property we wanted to incorporate natural, rustic elements into our wedding to add to the beauty of our surroundings.
