It is hard not to find inspiration in these images, from the stunning dress and amazing bouquet to the perfect location and romantic photography.

From the photographer, Austin, at Blueberry Fusion:

We were recently contracted to help with marketing materials for a new, yet old, venue: Brick Landing. The venue has re-opened for weddings in Ocean Isle Beach and is drop-dead gorgeous! We were lucky enough to work with some very talented vendors for this bridal shoot including BAO Events, Fiore Fine Flowers, wardrobe by Coastal Knot, and hair/make-up by Katelynn Derengowski. And who’s that stunning bride? Kelsey Childers did a phenomenal job and made our life easy behind the lens!

A Musical New Jersey Engagement Session by Betsi Ewing Studio

I love engagement shoots that capture a couple so perfectly you feel like you know them. A beautiful and stylish couple, Carolyn and Chris brought their passion for music to the place where their love blossomed. Betsi Ewing Studio perfectly captured their kind, warm smiles and true love for one another.

From the beautiful bride-to-be, Carolyn:

We wanted to do our engagement photo shoot at Rutgers Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ because it is the place we fell in love. Chris was an intern at the Rutgers Gardens while I was a Dendrology Teaching Assistant that would often bring my students to the gardens for class. The place is very special to us and we love spending time there. We wanted our shoot to be a relaxed, down home theme and to express our relationship. Both of us play musical instruments so we also wanted them to be incorporated into our shoot. Our photographers, Betsi and Dan, thought it was a great idea and were very accommodating from the start. They are both really warm, fun people that have a calming attitude that can put aside camera-shy jitters. We felt like we were all just hanging out and having a good time.

From the photographer…

Andrea and Brian are a high energy and beautiful couple. They met in high school in the DC area but didn’t actually get together until about three years later when Andrea decided to reach out and send him a note to get in touch. They began writing each other daily and Andrea eventually went to visit Brian in Florida where he was living at the time before deciding to move to be together. She calls it a whirlwind romance :) They have been inseparable ever since. Brian proposed to Andrea while on vacation in Jamaica, at Dunns River Falls. When they reached the top of the falls, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Andrea was overcome with emotion and said yes, the rest is history. Andrea and Brian have recently moved back to the DC area and are planning a vintage themed wedding for October. They wanted their engagement shoot to reflect their personalities and personal style in one of their favorite spots in DC, Georgetown. They reminded me of a timeless couple you would see in the 1940′s when walking down the cobblestone streets of Georgetown.Their wedding will be at home with vintage and eclectic DIY touches that reflect their uniqueness as a couple.

A Cape Hatteras Island Styled Shoot by Style by Design

Happy Friday, East Coast Brides! Styled shoots are the perfect way to give you a plethora of ideas for unique wedding details and decor this  Cape Hatteras Island shoot, created by Style by Design, will get you thinking outside of the typical beach color weddings. As the beach season nears it’s end, we hope you these gorgeous images, captured by Daniel Pullen Photography, inspire you.

From the designer, Amy Stanley:

My inspiration for this shoot was to create a southern beach chic wedding.  Typically people think of blues, greens, and summer when they picture a beach wedding, but I wanted to use colors that were atypical of this style of wedding.

Bicycle Inspired Pennsylvania Engagement Session by Nicole Cassano Photography

I’ve written about it before. I am obsessed with bicycles in photo shoots. I have no idea what the allure is…except that they are almost always adorable and this bicycle inspired engagement session is no exception. Submitted to us by Nicole Cassano Photography, this Pennsylvania couple look like naturals on this bike. And the rest of the photos are gorgeous as well. Enjoy!

A Carefree Georgia Engagement Session by Odalys Mendez Photography

Today’s engagement session, soft, carefree, and romantic, was perfectly captured on film by Odalys Mendez Photography. We love  the stunning Georgia estate and Jennifer’s style (especially those amazing boots).

From the photographer, Odalys Mendez:

Jennifer and Ryan grew up in this 48 acre estate in beautiful Georgia, and wanted to incorporate their laid back, nature-rich lifestyle in their engagement session. The result was relaxed and organic. Their great dane Harley joined them for a few shots but roamed around the expanse of land the rest of the time. Jennifer requested to incorporate a red antique chair that holds sentimental value to her, so we set it amongst a field of purple wildfowers. Film was used for this session to help create the soft, pastel hues to go with the organic landscape.

A Sweet South Carolina Styled Shoot by Perry Vaile Photography

We love when a gorgeous styled shoot comes our way and this South Carolina beauty, perfectly captured and styled by Perry Vaile Photography, is sure to impress and inspire. From the fields to the simple vintage-inspired decor and fashion, enjoy the charm of the south in these amazing images.

From Perry Vaile Photography:

Sweet, sweet Carolina. Where the unpaved back roads lead through fields of cotton and tobacco, and the weathered old barns stand up strong against years of exposure. It’s where every southern girl gets her charm and spunk. This is what I wanted to showcase in these images. A special (colorful) twist on a good ol’ backyard Carolina wedding. From cherry pie to raspberries - old maps and packed suitcases, this is a little slice of the East Coast served up and hot outta the oven. These two models, as well as the makeup artist/hair stylist, and the photographer are all NC natives, so this was a shoot close to our hearts!

From the photographer…

We set a date for Liz and Justin’s engagement session and just hoped for the weather to behave itself since we were having a string of crazy weather this spring! So of course I was freaking out when I was driving through a giant storm on my way to the little island of Key Biscayne to shoot their beachy lighthouse session. Literally less than half of a mile away where we chose to do our session is right where the edge of the storm was, so we were left with some amazing images with gorgeous sunlight with intense storm clouds in the background. That’s Florida weather for you! I absolutely love the energy that this couple brings! Laughter, having fun, and being open to new ideas (even crazy ideas like the photographer telling you to run into the ocean and roll around in the sand) creates a great experience and outcome for engagement sessions.
