A Carnival Engagement by Brooke Images

We love this Florida engagement session, captured by Brooke Images, that mixes classy urban shots with sweet carnival fun!

From the beautiful bride-to-be, Brooke:

Who popped the question and how?

Matt popped the question on our vacation to San Francisco in September. We were walking through Golden Gate Park and came across a beautiful, secluded place by a lake under a huge tree. He grabbed my hand, got down on  one knee, and proposed. I honestly thought he was kidding at first, but then he held up the beautiful ring.

What were your inspirations for the engagement shoot?

We really love the urban look of downtown Jacksonville, but wanted to balance it with something fun. Our photographer suggested the fair and we loved the idea! We had and still have total trust in our photographers!

How do the pictures reflect the personality of you as a couple?

We’re honestly happy anywhere as long as we’re together. We both believe that life, no matter what you do or where you are, is best lived when shared with those you love. I think the photos reflect that “put us anywhere and give us each other” attitude we have. Whether strolling in a run-down alley behind a vacant building, or perched at the top of a ferris wheel at the fair, we’re just happy to be together and to share the experience.
