A Jersey Shore Engagement Session by Markow Photography

By Krista

Being that Keri and I are from New Jersey, we are loving the Jersey engagement sessions this week! First Liberty State Park, with views of our neighboring city skyline, and now to the shore. Beautifully captured by Markow Photography, we know you’ll love this beautiful couple!

From the gorgeous bride-to-be, Joselyn:

Who popped the question and how?

On a late Sunday afternoon both of our families were laying around the house thinking of something to do. We all decided to go to the bowling alley for an afternoon of fun. I absolutely love to bowl! My turn is up and I am in the lead against my boyfriend & family…all pins down except for one! I turn around to find my boyfriend on one knee with my beautiful ring shinning. The first thing I did was kiss his lips and wrap my arms around him. The bowling alley was full of spectators clapping, whistling… but there we stood as one in happiness.

What were your inspirations for the engagement shoot?

We live in Brick, NJ not even ten minutes from Pt. Pleasant. During the summer nights and the cold winter days we always found ourselves hoping in the car to stroll the boardwalk, sit on the rocks at the inlet and watch the boats go by or look up into the stars as we talk about life, the future and our love. When we met with Julianne & Steve they asked us to think of a place, we knew Pt. Pleasant was it!

How do the pictures reflect the personality of you as a couple?

As a couple we are constantly making each other laugh and smile. We look at each other not only as lovers but as best friends. Markow Photography captured our unique love perfectly. With my fiance being a future soldier for the US. Army these photos were truly a blessing. When he leaves for months at a time I can have these photos and feel his arms around me as a reminder that distance can never separate our love.
