From the photographer, Brooke…
Jess & Robert’s story is unusual. They were married 10 years ago just before Robert was deployed to serve our country. They were unable to have the wedding they wanted because of his deployment. They always promised each other, the wedding of their dreams before they started their family. 10 years to the date (11/23/11), they had that wedding. Everything was as perfect as they had always dreamed. Friends, family, were all there to support them and you could feel the love flowing. Now, several months later…right on schedule…Jessica is pregnant! When they first got married they went to Aruba for a honeymoon. There is an indian custom of stacking 3 rocks, and naming each (love, health, wealth) and then making a wish on the road by the beach. If the rocks are blown over by waves, your wish comes true. Their original wish came true…but during the ceremony, they performed the rock stacking ceremony again, and also had each bridesmaid, and groomsmen make a stack together and send them a wish. It was truly a touching ceremony.
